Bowers Beach Buccaneer Bash

The Bowers Beach Buccaneer Bash is one of the East Coast’s premier pirate festivals, and a beloved highlight of the Delaware summer calendar. Now celebrating it’s 14th year, the Bash is a free, public, family friendly event, hosted by the Bowers Beach Maritime Museum. Our mission is to share the regions rich maritime history, through hands-on education and immersive, engaging entertainment. This year‘s Bash features interactive living history demonstrations, traditional colonial crafts, and a live cannon line, in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution . Attendees will also enjoy craft, food and beverage vendors, plus three stages of sea shanties, pirate rock and swashbuckling pirate fun.
