The First State Webfooters established in 1981 by the airmen from the Dover Air Force Base. We are a charter member of AVA, American Volkssport Association and is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, headquartered in Dover, Delaware. We offer walking and biking programs which are non-competitive and family oriented. The purpose of our club and events is to promote fellowship, physical fitness and social well-being. We offer people an opportunity to achieve their individual goals and offer the community walking programs like the free community C25K program. We have organized 5K and 10K self-guided and group planned walks throughout the state. As well, the club participates with other AVA clubs in the surrounding states to attend that state's walking and bike event.
